World Eaters Chaos Lord on Juggernaut of Khorne

There are times when even Kharn the Betrayer just won’t cut it on his own. When you need to call the big guns in. That’s when you call for a Lord Akrabash the Magnificent on Juggernaut with the Axe of Blind Fury! Obviously the World Eaters are getting increasingly less ‘pre-Heresy’ and a bit more just plain ‘Heresy’. This chap is pretty mighty though – he gets the cavalry rule, making him pretty fast and when charging he gets a grand total of 7+ D6 Attacks! He’s pretty awesome! He does, however, have a tendency to be distracted by squad leaders and minor characters. This leaves whole squads left alive when they should be dead and often the Lord is left as a Spawn or a Daemon Prince. Quite frankly, these are ‘gifts’ I could live without, but I guess that’s what you get for turning to the dark side.

The model is based on a Khorne Skull Crusher, but I’ve added Terminator arms, a Chaos back pack and a Khorne Berserker head. I’ve modelled him blindfolded to represent the blindness caused by the sword. I imagine he’s either plucked out his own eyes in a fit of rage (although he still has his lips for now…), or he’s some kind of zen swordsman, who uses all his other senses instead of those distracting eyes. The sword itself is from a spare Ogre Kingdoms set – I have a few of these weapons lying around now!

That is amazing. Looking forward to getting some of these paint products that you used when I get back to the USA. The spray on blue is just too good to be true.

Thanks Chris! It’s Army Painter Ultramarine Blue again. I assume that’s available in the US. It may not be relevant for you, but be careful about taking aerosol sprays on aircraft – check the rules in your country as some airport security get a bit funny about them.
