Afternoon all! So I suppose you were expecting to see some more pre-Heresy Imperial Fists here? Well, thanks to my inability to concentrate on a single project, and Pat and I getting roundly beaten by Traitors at the last Warhammer 40,000 Doubles Tournament at Warhammer World, I got utterly distracted by a different flavour of Space Marine.
Everyone always talks about how nice the pre-Heresy World Eater colour scheme is - the blue and white one, from before they went all Red Period. And, well, they’re right. It does look really nice. Hence these boys:
Only one is properly finished so far, with Legion and squad markings, but another four are finished apart from the freehand. They’re pretty quick to do!
I’m planning on getting to 1750 points in time for the WPS Club Challenge, which I’ve attended for the last couple of years. It’s always been fun, and first time I attended, I won with my hastily painted Flesh Eaters Space Marines! I’d like to see if I can paint an army in three months and win a tournament again!
I’ll be posting more models as I progress, along with pieces about how I painted them and my proposed army list as we go along. What do you think so far?

I think I love you Matt.
Fantastic start Matt! Of course you already know I love this idea. Looking forward to seeing the HQ on a jetbike!
